Job Summary

This position will be responsible for any combination of the following major areas of responsibility: invoice processing, employee reimbursement, auditing of general ledger coding, vendor setup and review, 1099 processing, and other accounting functions as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Performs a full range of activities related to the accounts payable process including: Invoice monitoring and resolution of Purchase Order (PO), Non-PO invoices, patient refunds, etc…
• Maintains approval queues and routes invoices to appropriate queues for approval
• Performs reconciliation of accounts payable detail and vendor master to the general ledger
• Assists with sales/use tax review and processing of 1099’s
• Provides customer services support to vendors and facility departments
• Assists in other duties as assigned
• Liaison with third party vendors who assist in Account Payable payment.
• Manage the Accounts Payable department and provide oversight and training to this team.
• Explore opportunities for process improvement and department efficiencies.
• Develop a Process Flow document and training manual for the department.
• Ensure that all members in the department are properly trained and effective in their roles.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree in finance or related discipline

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Ten years of work experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable or general accounting.
