Responsibilities

Job Summary

The LPN is responsible for providing patient care utilizing the nursing process. The nurse collaborates with members of the interdisciplinary team, and ancillary staff, to provide effective, safe, quality care.  The LPN is a key member of a team, working alongside a RN and PCA to provide excellent care for the patient.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Active Kentucky practical nurse license or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky
  • Degree in practical nursing from an accredited college or university
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • One (1) year of patient care experience in specialty area
