Shift Options: Part-Time, 7p-7a

The medical center offers a full range of services, including 24/7 emergency care, chest pain observation services, breast MRI, 3D digital mammography, laser eye surgery, diagnostic and medical imaging, outpatient surgery, orthopedic care, gastroenterology care, urology care, primary and specialty care, rehab services, laboratory, and infusion services.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

  • Emergency Room

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Active Kentucky registered nurse license or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky
  • Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or will obtain during orientation from hospital education
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or will obtain during orientation from hospital education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
  • One (1) year of patient care experience in specialty area
