Responsibilities

Job Summary

The physical therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients. In this role you will perform patient evaluation, development and implementation of an appropriate treatment plan, delivery of treatment services, and comprehensive discharge planning.

  • Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Comprehensive Stroke Center
  • Burn Care
  • ICU/Critical Care
  • Oncology
  • Emergency Care
  • Cardiovascular
  • Neurosurgery
  • Orthopedics

Qualifications

Education / Accreditation / Licensure (required & preferred):

• BS/MS/DPT degree in physical therapy required.
• DPT degree preferred.
• Valid PT License Kentucky State Board of Physical Therapy

 

Certification

• CPR, BLS through the American Heart Association.

 

Experience (required and preferred):

• Experience in physical therapy preferred for outpatient positions.
• Acute care physical therapy experience required for acute care positions.
