The Vice President of Marketing and Communications is the executive strategist responsible for leading the planning, development and execution of the organization's marketing and communications strategic initiatives.
The VP of Marketing and Communications ensures the organization's message is distributed across multiple channels and to targeted audiences to meet goals and objectives of UofL Health and the entities and service lines across the integrated regional academic health system. This role also utilizes key initiatives to identify marketing trends and direct the market research efforts, liaising with key executives to guide a unified approach to meet market demands and to define marketing strategies supporting the health system’s overall strategies and objectives.
The VP of Marketing and Communications leads the initiatives that drive awareness and demand for the brand through all marketing channels through the successful management of six key divisions: public relations, advertising, communications, physician relations, digital, and strategic account management. In addition, this role also oversees the implementation of both the creative and analytical side of traditional marketing channels (TV, radio, outdoor) and digital marketing strategies. Leads internal and external communications, public relations, strategic account management, and physician liaisons initiatives, to drive awareness, consideration, and conversion for the UofL Health brand.
