Job Summary

The LPN is responsible for providing patient care utilizing the nursing process. The LPN collaborates with members of the interdisciplinary team and ancillary staff to provide effective, safe, quality care.  The LPN is a key member of a team which promotes patients’ recovery and functional improvement.

The area of focus

• Floating each shift to Mixed Acuity units within the hospital

Required Qualifications

• Active Kentucky practical nurse license or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky
• Practical degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
• Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum of two (2) years of LPN experience in an acute care or rehan experience
