Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY

Perform EEG testing as ordered by physician for the medical practice patients

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for operating electroencephalograph and performing EEG testing as ordered by physician to evaluate and record electrical activity of the brain.
  • Gather patient medical history.
  • Explain testing and protocol.
  • Apply electrodes and prepare patient for procedure.
  • Monitor patient status and document any abnormalities.
  • Record and save data for interpretation by physician.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Associate degree in Electroneurodiagnostic technology
  • American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Certification, required
