The MRI Technologist performs examinations according to established protocols set forth by the medical director. The MRI Technologists demonstrates an understanding of human cross sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology. The MRI Technologists maintains a high degree of accuracy in positioning and imaging technique. The MRI Technologists maintains knowledge and awareness high magnetic field strength safety. The MRI Technologist will prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with hospital policy and procedure as well as state and federal regulations.
Certifications: Registered with ARRT, KY Radiation Operator's certification, CPR-Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required. MRI Registry within two years of employment
Education: Graduate of JRC approved program in Radiologic Technology
