Location: Downtown, Dixie Hwy

Shift: 1st (36 hours)

Duration: June 5th – July 28th (8 weeks)

JOB SUMMARY

Answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments as well as updating patient demographics, maintain bump list, schedule for each division, page MD’s with hospital consults, obtain medical records when possible, miscellaneous duties such as: assist with scheduling sleep study patients, file batches, distribute correspondence with co-workers.

    • Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting warmly and answering inquiries.
    • Responsible for answering the telephone, routing calls, taking appropriate messages.
    • Respects and maintains privacy and dignity of patients; assures patient confidentiality at all times.
    • Makes appointment reminder calls to patients with upcoming appointments.
    • Performs routine administrative duties in a timely manner such data entry, sorting office mail, and scanning documents.
    • Maintains office supplies for administrative staff.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
