We are hiring for an Inpatient Physical Therapist at Frazier Rehabilitation Institute

Location: 220 Abraham Flexner Way Louisville, KY 40202

Shift Options: Full Time 1st shift

Our experienced team specializes in care and recovery for patients who have experienced brain injury, movement disorders, spinal cord injuries, stroke and other debilitating conditions. We provide services for individuals across the age spectrum – from pediatric to geriatric – and with the highest level of acuity, including patients who require mechanical ventilation.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The physical therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients. In this role you will perform patient evaluation, development and implementation of an appropriate treatment plan, delivery of treatment services, and comprehensive discharge planning.

• Transplant

Qualifications

Education / Accreditation / Licensure (required & preferred):

• BS/MS/DPT degree in physical therapy required.
• DPT degree preferred.
• Valid PT License Kentucky State Board of Physical Therapy

 

Certification

• CPR, BLS through the American Heart Association.

 

Experience (required and preferred):

• Experience in physical therapy preferred for outpatient positions.
• Acute care physical therapy experience required for acute care positions.
