Overview

The intern will support the development projects currently underway in LouMed.  They will also assist with work related to environmental developments in the district.

The intern will be supporting key projects in the Executive Offices by gathering data and assisting in the organization of presentations at the direction of organizational sponsor.  The intern will be assisting in project management, collecting materials, distributing key material to designers and board members and working collaboratively with the Exec. Director of LouMed.

This internship will last 12-15 weeks.

• Performs assigned tasks and work related to the LouMed project.
• Maintains effective communication with internal and external stakeholders via email, phone and in-person meetings.
• Contributes to team initiatives and goals.
• Assists with additional projects, as assigned.

• Currently working on completion of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in healthcare administration, finance or relevant field from an accredited school (required)
• Previous coursework or experience in a healthcare setting (preferred)
• Familiarity with healthcare administration or clinical environments (preferred)
