About Us

Frazier Rehab Institute services include nationally recognized brain injury, spinal cord, and stroke recovery rehab programs accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Rehab Facilities (CARF), with research being conducted with the University of Louisville. Frazier Rehab Institute continues to be a national leader for rehabilitation services, such as the EMERGE program, which is designed to help patients with severe traumatic brain injuries and who are at low levels of consciousness, and locomotor training for post spinal cord injury patients, which allows for weight support standing and walking.

Job Summary

• Schedules and cancels agency nurses and patient observation aides according to guidelines.
• Assist the Admissions Department and physicians with bed availability and patient placement. Awareness of COBRA Guidelines.
• Maintains diversion records.
• Orients new Administrative Supervisors.
• Evaluates staffing schedules and ensures that staffing is based on patterns and patient acuity.
• Notifies Administrator-On-Call as needed.
• Interprets policies and procedures to staff and monitors compliance; assists with developing new policies.
• Organizes and implements projects, new programs.
• Procures supplies and equipment needed for patient care.
• Maintains the Infection Control Program Guidelines, OSHA requirements, State Licensure Requirements, JCAHO Standards and hospital goals and objectives.

• Graduate of a state approved school of nursing. BSN required (equivalent specialty experience will be considered in lieu of the educational and experience requirements based on executive leadership approval.

• Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky.

• BLS through the American Heart Association.

• Three years of RN experience, including 2 years of management.
