Overview

We are hiring an Inpatient Therapist Supervisor at Frazier Rehab Institute!

Location: 220 Abraham Flexner Way, Louisville, KY 40202 (downtown location)

Specifics: Full Time 1st shift

The 135-bed Frazier Rehabilitation Institute in downtown Louisville provides specialty rehab programs through highly-skilled providers and therapists in a state-of-the-art facility. With that same level of innovation and expertise, outpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, is offered at more than 15 locations across the region.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

The Supervisor is responsible for supervising operational activities and providing clinical management of rehab services to the patient populations served by the facility. This shall include the direction, supervision, instruction, and evaluation of the professional staff, supportive staff, and students providing rehab services to patients. The Clinical Manager will also perform the duties of a clinical therapist.

The Supervisor will promote smooth operations, prompt and effective response to problems/concerns, continued department development, and program expansion. This position is also responsible for coordination of interdepartmental functions and activities to ensure smooth and effective operations consistent with the objectives of the facility, Community Based Rehab, and Frazier Rehab Institute

Qualifications

Required:

  • Licensed or eligible in the Commonwealth of Kentucky or State of Indiana, as appropriate to the facility.
  • Bachelor of Science or entry level masters degree in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapy from a college/university accredited by the respective national accrediting body.
  • BLS though the American Heart Association

Experience (required and preferred):
Required:

• Minimum of 2 years recent clinical experience in an environment commensurate with the practice setting and programmatic needs of the facility
• Proficiency in Quality Improvement and Project Management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications
• Proficiency in both verbal and written communication

Preferred:

• Previous experience as a lead role
• Previous experience in program planning and management, competency assessment, promoting and supporting change initiatives
