About Us

UofL Hospital offers a second-to-none cancer center, world-renowned trauma team, and a uniquely streamlined, nationally accredited stroke center. UofL Hospital is the only adult Level I trauma center in the region. The hospital is also the home to the only dedicated burn center in Kentucky.

We are a designated Baby-Friendly birthing facility by Baby-Friendly USA. The designation is awarded to birth centers that offer an optimal level of care for infant feeding and mother/baby bonding.
