We are Hiring Charge RNs at our Geriatric Inpatient Unit at Frazier Rehab!

 

Location: 220 Abraham Flexner Way – 12th floor Louisville, KY 40202

 

Shift: 7a-7p Fulltime

Job Summary

The charge nurse assists the clinical manager and nursing director with the management of the unit including participating in employee evaluations, staffing and scheduling, patient and preceptor assignments, oversight of resource utilization, and initiating and overseeing quality improvement activities.  The charge nurse acts as a resource and provides information/education to unit staff.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Active Kentucky registered nurse license or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky
  • Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
  • Two years of patient care experience in specialty area
