ICU Towers is a 24-bed Cardiopulmonary Shock ICU that cares for a broad range of diagnoses and nurses will have the opportunity to gain experience using advanced equipment such as Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, and Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS).

Job Summary

The RN Shift Coordinator/ Associate Nurse Managerwill provide support and will work collaboratively with the Clinical Manager and the Director.  The Shift Coordinator will hold staff accountable on his/her shift and provide feedback to Clinical Manager.  The Shift Coordinator is an extension of the Clinical Manager and is empowered to address issues and concerns on his/her respective shift.  This staff member will work 1/3^rd of her/his shifts in staffing. 

Required Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for license in Kentucky
• Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required for some units
• Bachelor's degree from accredited college or University
• Previous Charge Nurse or Leadership experience
• Minimum 3 years RN experience

Preferred Qualifications

• National certification in specialty or nursing administration is preferred.
• ICU Experience
