Performs computed tomography, MR, Mammography, and/or diagnostic scans designated anatomical areas in accordance with established practices and procedures based on required certifications. Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns. Responsible for maintaining patient record and files.
(A business reason must exist for an individual to be in the Multi ModalityTechnologist’s title and not due to the technologist simply having a registry in 2 pathways as outlined in the job qualifications.)
Education / Accreditation / Licensure (required & preferred):
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Possess and maintain certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in 2 pathways not including Radiography (R).
• State of Kentucky License required
• BLS required.
Experience (required and preferred):
• Previous experience in additional pathways preferred but not essential for all positions.
