Job Summary

The physical therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients. In this role you will perform patient evaluation, development and implementation of an appropriate treatment plan, delivery of treatment services, and comprehensive discharge planning. 

Area of Focus: Orthopedics and Sports Medicine

In this position time would be split working in an outpatient orthopedic clinic with onsite coverage working with collegiate and professional athletes in the Louisville, Ky area.

Education / Accreditation / Licensure (required & preferred):

BS/MS/DPT degree in physical therapy required.
DPT degree preferred.
Valid PT License Kentucky State Board of Physical Therapy

Completion of a Sports residency or credentialing as a sports or orthopedic certified specialist, or as a licensed/certified Athletic Trainer

Certification

• CPR, BLS through the American Heart Association.

Experience (required and preferred):

• Experience in physical therapy preferred for outpatient positions.
• Acute care physical therapy experience required for acute care positions.
