Job Summary

The Director of Employee Experience & Culture is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive employee experience strategy that aligns with the organization's business goals and objectives. This role focuses on identifying key drivers of employee experience, designing, and overseeing the implementation of employee experience programs and initiatives, establishing communication and feedback channels, and continuously improving the employee experience.

Responsibilities

Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive employee experience strategy that aligns with the organization's business goals and objectives. Identify key drivers of employee experience and design initiatives to address them. Establish clear goals, metrics, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of these efforts.

 

Program and Initiative Design: Design and oversee the implementation of various employee experience programs and initiatives, including performance management. Ensure programs and initiatives serve the diverse needs and preferences of the workforce. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HROE, benefits, internal communications, Learning & Development) to create a cohesive and integrated approach.

 

Communication and Feedback Channels: Establish effective communication channels to gather employee feedback and input. Use storytelling to support changing employee experiences. Conduct regular employee surveys, focus groups, and pulse checks to understand the experiences and beliefs of the workforce. Analyze survey data and other feedback to identify areas of improvement and trends.

 

Experience Activation and Execution: Design and deliver employee experience programs and initiatives across the organization. Coordinate with HROE, leaders, and managers to ensure consistent implementation and experience. Provide training, support, and resources to managers and team leaders to help them effectively support their employees.

 

Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of employee experience initiatives. Analyze employee data, identify best practices, and make data-driven adjustments to the strategy. Collaborate with HROE and other relevant functions to explore new and innovative experience approaches.

 

Organizational Culture Shaping: Partner with the leadership team to shape and reinforce the desired organizational culture and core behaviors. Promote a culture of recognition, open communication, and employee-centric values. Serve as a champion for employee experience initiatives to support the organization's mission, vision, values, and core behaviors.

 

Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate employee insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of experience efforts. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and secure their support for employee experience initiatives.

 

Employee Experience Optimization: Identify and address pain points in the employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. Deliver an engaging, welcoming, and effective day one New Team Member Orientation experience. Design and implement initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience. Collaborate with the HROE team to enable a seamless and positive employee experience.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, or related field (required)

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in employee experience, human resources, or related field (required)
