Responsibilities

This position is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership for all Talent Acquisition activities and functions (including technical and non-technical roles); accountable for providing HR business partners with solutions to specific talent acquisition needs for the business areas; responsible for the development of strategies, programs and metrics to ensure that UofL Health acquires the highest caliber talent.

 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies that align with the health system’s objectives and growth plan.
  • Responsible for the strategic leadership and oversight of recruiting professionals who lead recruitment for designated service lines.
  • Identify and participate in HR process improvement initiatives that improve experience, enhance work flow, and/or improve the work environment.
  • Provide guidance and coaching for respective TA team including onboarding new team members, training of new tools and initiatives and providing support with day-to-day challenges.
  • Supports correct usage of ATS and sourcing tools by the recruitment team to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Design and apply strategies that will help us attract and hire qualified employees.
  • Partner on branding and digital marketing attributing to candidate attractiveness to increase talent pipeline.
  • Support and assist in hiring recommendations to key leaders, including Chief Operations Officer

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of experience progressively increasing responsibility in the talent acquisition vertical.
  • 4+ years of experience leading a team of direct reports.
  • Proficient with ATS systems
  • Experience with digital recruitment marketing, sourcing, and strategic partnerships
  • Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Internet, and Intranet navigation.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree
  • Healthcare experience
