Overview

The Allied Health Academy Radiology Program Clinical Coordinator will serve as resource for our Allied Health Academy administrative team and students focusing on the Radiology Program. This employee is expected to provide resources and education to improve student outcomes. The Allied Health Academy Radiology Program Clinical Coordinator assists in supporting the Allied Health Academy implementation and activities. They will assist in planning, implementing, evaluating, and summarizing clinical practice arrangements in hospital/practice settings. Additionally, they will teach specific courses in the Radiology program.

Responsibilities

  • Works independently performing a wide range of administrative and clerical duties to support the leaders of the Allied Health Academy.
  • Communicates directly with students to ensure all applicable resources are provided and correspondence is addressed.
  • Communicates with and provides services to internal and external contacts.
  • Provide administrative support to the Allied Health Academy leaders to ensure all programming is supported as needed. Assists with internal administration related to the smooth running of the Allied Health Academy.
  • Prepare materials and send communication for classes and meetings.
  • Lead the day to day needs of students in the Radiology Program to ensure student success.
  • Makes arrangements for clinical rotations of Allied Health Academy Radiology Program students throughout the organization, checks in regularly to ensure both a good student and preceptor experience.
  • Teach Radiology program classes. This includes planning, building curriculum, facilitating classes and providing feedback to the students.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
  • Coordinates and completes assignments in a timely and comprehensive manner, often within very aggressive deadlines, to ensure workplace learning and performance goals are achieved, without significant oversight.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (required)

Experience:

  • One (1) year administration or equivalent experience (required)

Two (2) or more years administration or equivalent experience (preferred)
