Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Service Center Manager, Supervisor and Lead this position is responsible for the fulfillment of all orders. This position will ensure that all received orders are accurately picked and packed ensuring that the correct products and the correct quantities are shipped and delivered to the requesting location nightly. To perform these duties, the warehouse Material Handler will be required to operate various warehouse equipment. Examples of which include but are not limited to various types of forklifts, pallet jacks but manual and electric, inventory carousels, and sortation machinery. The Material Handler will also be using hand held scanners with a mobile computer displaying our Warehouse Management System to pick all orders. The Warehouse Material Handler will be required to deliver shipments to the facilities using a 26ft straight box truck. The Material Handler will refill other suppling locations from over stock locations throughout the warehouse to ensure that the appropriate stock levels are maintained. This individual will also be tasked with rotating stock to ensure that the items closest to expiration go out first while removing expired products.
Education:
• Highschool Diploma or G.E.D. required.
Experience:
• Warehousing or supply chain background preferred.
• Forklift, Reach Truck & Cherry Picker operation preferred.
Licensure:
• Maintain active driver’s license (required).
Certification:
• DOT certification (preferred).
