The Polysom Technologist performs and operates sleep study equipment according to manufacturer recommendations and with physician oversight to include polysomnography, Continuous Positive Airway pressure (CPAP) titration, Home Sleep Testing, and electroencephalography. Responsible for record keeping of patient files, faxing reports as needed, along with other clerical duties as needed. Cleans and prepares equipment for patient use.

Polysom I- Must obtain Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT) from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BPRT) within 6 months of employment (required). Must obtain Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BPRT) within 3 years of employment (required)
Polysom II- Must have Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT) from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BPRT). Must obtain Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BPRT) within 3 years of employment (required).
Polysom III- Must have Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BPRT)
