Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Manager, Operations & Logistics of the Supply Chain Service Center this position coordinates proper inventory levels throughout the Warehouse with help from the Warehouse Purchasing Agent and ensures that item counts are correct. Makes sure that products are in the proper locations to ensure the most efficient use of space and resources in the order fulfillment process. When directed adds items into inventory to meet customer needs. Maintains excellent communication with the Warehouse Purchasing Agent to ensure Inventory Levels are properly maintained.
• Performs Routine Cycle Counts
• Processes item charges/credits to departments
• Participates in the item conversion process.
• Manages product returns from departments.
• Works with Warehouse Purchasing Agent to Manage the recall process for the warehouse.
• Managers the product expiration dates.
• Re-Slots items to maximize picking efficiency
• Assist with all activities of the Purchasing Process for the Warehouse to include recommended reorder report review, purchase order generation, order confirmation, price validation and shipping confirmation
• Completed order expediting functions as needed in order to ensure good product supply, securing substitute product where needed and effectively communicating with facility Material Managers and order customers as required.
• Reviews and works the open order report
• Assist with resolving Shipping Discrepancies
• Works with Vendor Customer Service and Sales Representatives as needed to ensure the smooth processing of transactions.
• All Other Duties as Assigned
Education:
• Highschool Diploma or G.E.D. required
• Some College preferred
Experience:
• Warehousing or supply chain background preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft excel
• Forklift/Reach Truck Operator preferred
Licensure:
• Maintain active drivers license (required)
