Installs, checks, and replaces equipment; performs repairs and performs preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure continuation of services and operations of systems to provide patient care in a safe and comfortable manner. Supports construction and renovation projects. Performs a variety of tasks related to the implementation of the Life Safety and Utilities Management Plans and regulatory agency requirements. Performs a variety of tasks defined as HVAC and Refrigeration skills. Complies with hospital and department specific policies and procedures. Adheres to hospital values.
Education & Training: High School diploma or GED required. Formal training in a certified, degree, military or union HVAC and Refrigeration program. Sub 10 yrs.
Experience: Five (5) years of experience required.
License & Certification: Certification, license or degree in HVAC and Refrigeration required.
