    This is a Part Time weekend 1:30p-1:30a Assessment Clinician at UofL Health- Peace Hospital in Louisville KY.

The facility offers the most comprehensive array of psychiatric treatment and substance abuse services in the state, including specialized programs and services along  the full continuum of care, including inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programming for all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults.     Responsibilities

    Evaluates individuals seeking behavioral health/substance use treatment and seeks justification for admission.  Conducts evaluations at local hospitals, UofL Health- Peace Hospital, and other community agencies and facilities.  Refers patients to appropriate services and assists in the intake process for those patients admitted.  Determines provisional diagnosis and discusses treatment recommendations with patient, family, and medical providers.  Coordinates level of care expectations with physicians, Assessment Referral Center, personnel, patient care units, and external agencies. 

     

    Qualifications

    Assessment Clinician 1 & 2:

     

    Minimum Requirements for Assessment Clinician 1:

    Master’s Degree in Social Work or other related fields required.

    OR BSN and one year of experience in related field.

    For Mobile Assessment Clinicians only– valid driver’s license required.

     

    Minimum Requirements for Assessment Clinician 2:

    Master’s Degree in Social Work or other related field required.

    Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) in the state of Kentucky required.

    For Mobile Assessment Clinicians only– valid driver’s license required.
