UofL Hospital Main Downtown Campus is home to a 28-bed PreOp and PACU where they provide service to a large population of patients from all over the country. The nurses in this area come from critical care and mixed acuity that provide top notch care to services lines such as neurosurgery, urology, cancer, trauma, burn, plastics, vascular, colorectal, and general surgeries. The surgical services area is open 24 hours a day 365 days a year to cater to all cases including trauma/emergencies. - Schedule follow up/return visits to our office for patients.

UofL Hospital Main Downtown Campus is home to a 28-bed PreOp and PACU where they provide service to a large population of patients from all over the country. The nurses in this area come from critical care and mixed acuity that provide top notch care to services lines such as neurosurgery, urology, cancer, trauma, burn, plastics, vascular, colorectal, and general surgeries. The surgical services area is open 24 hours a day 365 days a year to cater to all cases including trauma/emergencies. Scheduled cases per day can range from 35-50 with a nurse-to-patient ratio ranging from 1:1 to 2:1 based on ASPAN guidelines. Surgical holds nurse-to-patient ratio range from 4:1 to 5:1
