The Data Architect supports the design, development and implementation of all data initiatives at ULH. Leads the enterprise information management strategy fostering IT – Business collaboration in understanding of enterprise data, binding disparate, heterogenous data sources together in a framework for access and sharing of data, developing data trust across the organization and instituting best practices and standards in data use.
• Leads the implementation, enhancement and on-going support of enterprise data platform utilizing data modeling concepts for model extension and ETL programs to transform and ingest data.
• Supports the data through its life cycle utilizing data governance principles that ensure data quality, integrity, stewardship, security, literacy and adoption.
• Develops and enforces implementation of standards and best practices involved in data modeling (conceptual/logical/physical models), data architecture design patterns (EDW/data marts/data lakes) and ETL.
• Conducts research and makes recommendations on products, tools, services, protocols and standards that will support ULH’s data management strategy.
• Works in concert with BI Developers and business teams to understand business requirements and translating those requirements into developing value-add BI/Analytics solutions.
• Designs and maintains a curriculum for coaching and training current and prospective end users to better understand how these tools can enhance business decision making capabilities.
• Provides Level 1, 2 and 3 support for day-to-day production issues maintaining documentation in the appropriate tracking systems while adhering to prescribed escalation & change control procedures. Includes on call rotation.
• Adheres to all Security Standards as set forth by the organization and National guidelines.

JOB SUMMARY
The Access Center Partner I is responsible for communicating with patients and physicians in a timely and professional manner. As a first point of contact, the person will create a positive impression for U of L Physicians while scheduling patient appointments according to clinic operating standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer all incoming calls with exceptional customer service with a focus on compassionate patient centered care
- Schedule new, return, and referring provider appointments within assigned group or warmly transfer to level II agents
- Accurately schedule patient appointments in accordance with physicians’ template and guidelines using access center technologies
- Regularly monitor guided schedule documents to ensure up to date scheduling compliance
- Determine appropriate physicians for all non-directed referrals
- Reschedule patients using proper functions
- Field non-clinical patient questions or transfer to appropriate clinical parties
- Set patient’s expectations for their visit ensuring an excellent patient experience
- Call patients to reschedule appointment when clinic is cancelled
- Use Allscripts, Centricity Business, online paging systems as well as retrieve information from other hospital systems
- Treat all matters confidentially concerning patient information according to HIPAA guidelines.
- Adhere to group productivity and quality metrics
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Two years of scheduling in a multi-specialty clinic, preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Successful completion of all required training
- Must be dependable, professional and a team player
- Excellent organizational and communications skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to adhere to deadlines

About the Perioperative RN Training Program
This class is a paid educational program for registered nurses who have an interest in a career path in Surgical Services. The Perioperative Nursing Course is a structured six-month educational program offering training into the challenging specialty of Operating Room nursing. This program combines a standardized, evidence-based online curriculum and textbook readings with hands-on skills labs and a clinical practicum. Working side-by-side with an Operating Room staff nurse preceptor, you will share in the challenges and rewards that occur at our facility, while enjoying personal growth and skills advancement. Peer support, nurturing and continuous feedback will be provided throughout the experience. Participation in the training program requires you to work full time 8-hour days.
After successful completion of the program, you will be offered a full-time position. Please note all the positions available for this program are full time. Usually most positions are on first shift; however, other shifts may be what is available and will be filled according to area of greatest need in the department. Surgical Nurses in the OR have a weekend and holiday rotation and are required to take call.
