Working side-by-side with an Operating Room staff nurse preceptor, you will share in the challenges and rewards that occur at our facility, while enjoying personal growth and skills advancement. Peer support, nurturing and continuous feedback will be provided throughout the experience.  Participation in the training program requires you to work full time 8-hour days.   After successful completion of the program, you will be offered a full-time position. Please note all the positions available for this program are full time.  Usually most positions are on first shift; however, other shifts may be what is available and will be filled according to area of greatest need in the department.  Surgical Nurses in the OR have a weekend and holiday rotation and are required to take call.
